FAQ

What does Liquicity mean by claim free music?

Claim free music means that content creators can use music from Liquicity Records (with exceptions) in their creative content and monetise such content without getting copyright or DMCA claims.

Can I use Liquicity tracks in a video promoting a third-party product?

No, you cannot use the music for any type of content directly selling a third-party product. These include, but are not limited, to TV advertisements, online advertisements, video game soundtracks, movies soundtracks or movie trailers. If you do want to use Liquicity music for such content, you need a commercial license. Please contact [email protected].

Which tracks can I use claim free for my content?

There is a great amount of tracks that you can use without being scared of getting any kind of claim if you are an Astronaut. Please refer to our back catalogue here to search for specific tracks or directly listen to the tracks in these playlists: Liquicity Records, Galacy Records & Ridmic Records OR Gaming Drum & Bass – DMCA Free.

Can I use all tracks from the Liquicity YouTube channel?

No, you cannot. Most of the tracks are available but there are tracks that you cannot use.

I am a member of the Astronauts and I’ve made a video with Liquicity music, what now?

You only have to take action if you choose to upload your video to YouTube. Once you’ve uploaded your video to YouTube (publicly or unlisted) it will most likely prompt an automatic claim for the ad revenue. You can remove this claim by submitting a link to the video in your Liquicity Astronauts portal.

Once submitted the claim should be removed within a couple of days. For Twitch you should never receive any automatic claim whatsoever.

Can I ‘whitelist’ my entire YouTube channel?

No, only separate videos can be cleared of claims.

Can I ‘whitelist’ my entire Twitch channel?

If you are part of the Liquicity Astronauts program your Twitch channel should automatically never receive any claims.

Am I allowed to monetize my videos?

Yes, if you are a member of the Astronauts program, you can monetize all your videos without Liquicity claiming your ad revenue.

Can I use all tracks from the Liquicity Store?

Most tracks from the Liquicity Store can be used but there are certain exclusions from the Liquicity Astronauts program. Always make sure to only use music in one of these Spotify playlists:

What are the limitations of use for an Astronaut?

Furthermore, they cannot use the music for any content directly promoting a third-party product. There are no limitations on the amount of content you make using the claim-free music.

If I am a corporate entity, can I use the Astronauts program for claim free music?

No, if you are any form of corporate entity and want to use Liquicity music for commercial purposes, you need a commercial license. Please refer to [email protected].

How many channels and videos am I allowed to add to the Astronauts program?

There is no limit to how many channels you can add to the program. However, you do have to own all of the channels yourself. You are not allowed to clear videos or channels of friends. If you do so, you will get blocked for the program.

Do I need to credit when using Liquicity music?

You are not required to credit but of course it is always welcome in order to support the artist and Liquicity.

What platforms can I use Liquicity music on?

Right now, we support claim-free music on YouTube and Twitch. If there is another platform you would like your content to be cleared on, send us a message and we will try to help you.

Will Liquicity strike my channel/content if I am not a member of Liquicity Astronauts and use their music?
